Founder and Chief Technology Officer

Dr. Guedj led the spin-out of Magnum from Cirrus Logic in June of 2005, serving as president and CEO until February of 2008. During two and a half years of growth he led the Company through new product launches, multiple rounds of financing and the acquisition of the Consumer Products Group of LSI Corporation, establishing Magnum as a leader in Multimedia SOCs for the Consumer, Set Top Box and Professional Video markets with customers including LG, Matsushita, Motorola, Philips, Samsung and Sony.

Guedj joined Cirrus in 2003 as vice president of marketing and sales of video products, with responsibility for worldwide business development in DVD recorders, DVD camcorders and DTV/PC media adapters. Prior to Cirrus, Guedj was President of Tvia, Inc., leading that company's successful IPO in August 2000. Before joining Tvia, Guedj held the position of vice president of worldwide sales and marketing at Faroudja, and served as the director of digital media/residential broadband segments at National Semiconductor.

Guedj holds an MBA from the UCLA Graduate School of Management. Guedj attained a MSEE from Physique et Chimie de Paris, and a doctoral degree from the University of Paris.
