Scott Cho

Vice President, Worldwide Sales

Scott Cho joined Magnum’s team as vice president for Asia sales when the company was formed. In September of 2006 he was promoted to vice president of worldwide sales, and moved to Magnum headquarters in California. He brings over 17 years experience in technical sales and support.

Prior to Magnum’s formation, Cho was with Cirrus Logic since 1994 as a product manager located in the Korea office. He was instrumental in Cirrus achieving its number one status in the AVR market, with 90% market share in Korea, and was vital to design wins for DVD recorders at LG and Samsung.

Prior experience includes working as a field application engineer for C&T Distributors, supporting audio and video ICs and boards from ESS and Superchip. He has also worked as an engineering manager for PC and video card development at Hyosung Computer. During this time Cho resided in the United States for 1-1/2 years in support of U.S. customers.

Cho holds undergraduate and master’s degrees in physics from Kyung Hee University, and Seoul National University, respectively.
