Magnum Semiconductor Names Bernie Sardinha as VP Operations

Seasoned Industry Exec Rounds Out Management Team at Rapidly Growing Pre-IPO Chip Maker

MILPITAS, CA - January 29, 2009 - Magnum Semiconductor, Inc. today announced that Bernie Sardinha has joined as Vice President, Operations.

Sardinha has more than 20 years of IC industry experience in Operations, Product Test, Quality and Reliability.  Prior to Magnum, he served as VP of Operations at Teranetics, Inc, and before that as VP of Operations at Velio Communications (acquired by LSI Logic). Prior to Velio, Sardinha was a founding member and VP Manufacturing of Telecruz, a startup that created the first single-chip solution for Internet TV in 1998.

Sardinha holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from San Jose State University.
