Magnum Semiconductor Hires Ray Holzworth to Lead Operations

MILPITAS, Calif., July 27, 2006 --Magnum Semiconductor, Inc. (Magnum) today announced that it has named Ray Holzworth to the post of vice president of operations, reporting to Jack Guedj, Magnum president and chief executive officer.

Holzworth joins Magnum from Atrua Technologies, a high technology company specializing in touch control systems, where he served as vice president of operations. Prior to Atrua, Holzworth was vice president of operations at Transmeta, Triscend, ISD and held operations management positions at AMD. Holzworth brings an excellent track record of 28 years experience in leading and managing all aspects of manufacturing and production operations, including foundry, quality, IT and security functions.

Holzworth is responsible for all aspects of operations including product manufacturing, testing and reliability, product delivery, quality, information technology and facilities.

Holzworth holds an undergraduate degree in chemistry and mathematics, and attained master’s degrees in both business and electrical engineering, from San Jose State University and Stanford University, respectively.
