Sonata-ER2Development Platform for Advanced DVD Recorders

Sonata-ER2 is a development platform that enables fast development of advanced DVD recorders. This single platform can be used to design a DVD recorder with advance features such as USB 2.0 AV streaming, HDMI video output for DTV, 10/100 Ethernet or wireless video streaming, DVB-T/ATSC digital tuners, and large capacity hard disk drives. Sonata-ER2 supports supermulti media for both ±VR logical formatting and provides dual side recording and playback of DVD contents. Sonata-ER2 includes flexible interfaces to develop, evaluate, and test hardware and software from 3rd party hardware vendors. The on-board headers provide options to use development/evaluation daughter cards for HDMI, DVB-T/ATSC, 10/100 Ethernet/wireless, or any other functionality.
